My Dearest Friend, Mitsuo Fujii is deeply saddened over the loss of Buddy Emmons. Mitsuo asked me to insert words for him in this forum. I am thankful that our steel guitar world has been filled perfectly with the memories that a great talent has given to all of us all over this world. Music knows no bounds and Buddy Emmon's gift to us out reached all those earthly bounds. His presence will be missed, but not his gifts to us. Buddy's true championship was illustrated when a little 14 year old girl played her steel guitar on Scotty's stage. When she had finished playing a song, Buddy went on stage, took off his Derby and placed it on Sarah Jory. Mitsuo sends condolences and prayers to all in the family, friends and to all the aspiring musicians all over the world. I am honored to add mine to these wishes also. Rest in Peace now in your new Heavenly Home. "Sweet Cheeks" is very happy and complete again now.
