Looking for a second fiddle for country/bluegrass.

Looks/finish are not important .. but I am really looking for one with great old time
fiddle tone.

If anybody has one they want to sell at a reasonable price please PM me.

Leo:
Rick Cambell on the forum had a 5 string Silakoeski for a very reasonable price several years ago. If you can find one revoiced they are great fiddles. Look on the fiddle hangout for maybe a Royce Burt violin. Your certainly in fiddle country, shouldn't be hard!

Instead of hoping you get a fiddle with "the sound", I suggest you check out the fiddles revoiced by Royce Burt in Plant City, Florida. You can see what he has for sale by going to Youtube and entering his name. He takes older turn-of-the-century factory violins and revoices them to Italian Master specs. They've really got it.
