Watching Jeopardy tonight, the category was 'three five letter words'. They play a short clip of a psg lick. Two of the players had the typical hollow, dumb look we see often. One lady finally said 'steel guitar'. It was wrong though, as the category was three five letter words. The answer had to be 'pedal steel guitar'. Just think, in only a few seconds, we got the steel guitar in front of milions. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . But "guitar" has six letters!
I didn't see the show but my mom told me about it. She didn't catch the "guitar" error either. |

Doesn't Guitar have 6 letters?

The category was "5,5" meaning two five letter words and the answer was "kind of guitar" so the correct question was "what is a pedal steel?" which was too difficult for the 3 contestants to find. |

Maybe they spelled it "gitar"? |

Thanks for the correction. My Bad. Link to the show categories. She did say "steel guitar" but he answered pedal steel guitar, but the 2 words, "pedal steel" was the response wanted.
