This is a repair you can do. Take the hinge bolts out and separate the top and bottom halfs of the pedal. Push the wires inside, where the exposed inter wires are inside the pedal. Only 3 wires power the pedal: green is +12,white is -12,black is ground.
The red wire has 5 volts on it and it is not used The red wire must be isolated meaning taped off. Inside the cable there is a foil wrap and a bare braded wire. The foil wrap is there for shielding. The bare braded wire is there for strengh. The foil wrap and braded wire 'must not touch anything' or there will be hum noise. Just use black electrical tape to tape off everything. Hope this information helps. I do repair pedals if you feel you can't accomplish the repair. |

Keith thanks for the reply..Just before I read this I realized I could push the jacket back inside the pedal some and when tightened the it stays in place. |

Billy, I got all your e-mails and answered each one. With the last e-mail you sent, I realized you were not getting my e-mails. Everyone else has been getting my e-mails. Something is wrong with your e-mail in box. |
