i am trying to sell this guitar to keep from converting my 1974 d/10 pp into a sd10 loafer. this is a great playing and sounding guitar but i have the 2/emmons guitars and i am too old to play different setups. if anyone has an s/10 with at least 4/pedals and 5/knees please contact if you have something to trade....thanks jack

How much does it weigh? Aren't the legs on a Sierra height-adjustable?

steve, it doe's have adjustable legs like most steels, there is a limit on how high you can go without adding pedal rod extensions or getting new pedal rods. as far as the weight i do not have any way to get an accurate weight at this time but it is very compact and light compared to the crown series with the fold up legs....thanks jack

Jack, I don't know a lot about Sierra guitars, or how much each guitar weighs. For instance, the "Crown" series. I can't compare the weights of two guitars, when I don't know where to start looking. So can you give me something I can compare the "Session" series to?

steve, like i said i do not have any way to weigh the guitar at this time (i will try to borrow some scales or carry it some where and weigh it tomorrow). i also want to add that the guitar is only for sale at this time (i had a couple of emails still wanting to trade but i have lowered the price because i have another guitar on hold to buy)....thanks jack

I understand that, Jack. You want to sell your guitar. You might want to edit your ad--"For sale or trade," is still there. So SOME people might not know.

I can't make you a decent offer on this guitar until I know some details, though. You understand that, don't you? What's the case look like? Pretty good shape?

steve, first all it states in the reply above your post that it is for sale only, although i will change the topic. if you would like to purchase the guitar i do not have a problem with that. but there is no negotiating on the price it is firm at 2200.00 plus shipping....if you have any other questions please feel free to ask....thanks jack

Was it firm at 2500.00? How tall are you? Remember, I asked about adjustable legs earlier. I'm 6'5", and I'd like to know if I can get to the knee levers on the Sierra. I have trouble playing an S-10, for the same reason. How tall is your guitar from the floor? Mr. Green Mr. Green Mr. Green

steve, first of all i already explained that the legs are adjustable (just like any other brand guitar) right now it is 25 inches from the bottom of endplates to the floor. you can add at least 2 inch pedal rod adjustors and make it about 27 inches, i am 6ft and 2inches and i have plenty of room. second of all the price at this time is firm at 2200.00 plus shipping. like i said before i will be more than glad to sell you this guitar, but you need to know whatever you need to know before you purchase it as the money will be gone and there will be no refunds. if you need to talk just email me your number and i will call and we can discuss anything you would like to know before you decide to buy the guitar....thanks jack

Aren't the pickups interchangeable on this guitar? Like, plug one in, take it out, etc?
