I am taking the Emmons down to Duff's this Thursday, July 16, to play a couple of sets with Bob Love and his merry band of miscreants. We will be playing every cool song we can think of, from Bakersfield to Motown, and maybe even a little country music (from which country remains to be determined). They call it a "Happy Hour" show, 7 - 9 pm or thereabouts, and admission is free. I call it "Civilized" so come join us if you can, it will be special Cool

"NO SET LIST AND NO FEAR"

2530 NE 82nd in Portland Oregon

...It's deja vu all over again, won't you join us this week for more musical merriment. Last time out we had a request for a train song, resulting in a truly ripping rendition of "Petticoat Junction" and, in honor of our recently retired governor, "Sylvia's Mother" so you see, we cover all the bases...

Was unaware they moved their digs until a drive-by the original location discovered signs about having moved.

What's the seating like?
How big is the stage?

Seating is better, Ray, and so is the stage and sound. And the parking is WAY better...

One really great thing about a "happy hour" show is that you don't have to stay up all night to drink with the band after the show Cool

...and it sure would be nice to have some steelers show up to drink with afterwards...

Finally got into Duff's new location last night and enjoyed seeing/hearing Dave Grafe and Bob Littleton from Camas, Washingtons' West Coast Guitars.

An enjoyable evening of good music, no cover charge from 7-9:00 PM.

Easy parking, good food.........and a homey atmosphere.

Want to have a pleasant evening of steel guitar music, make it a point to drop in for an evening of
fun.

Ray you are too kind, it was great to have you two sitting nearby to soak up the special notes I was sending your way Razz

Do come back again, it's mostly every other Thursday that I make the show, the alternate weeks are more R&B oriented, but there is a lot of cross-polenization...

Woohoo, it's another Thursday, and I'm all wound up after spending the weekend playing in the Idaho outback with Joni Harms. Just tell me the key and play!
