A number of players have asked me for a picture of my new Jackson. I am sure happy with it and I am working hard learning to play it after a hiatus of forty plus years. It is made of Canadian maple with abalone, mother-of-pearl and mahogany inlays. This is a replica, if I am naming it right, of the 1963 Sho-Bud Madison with 2 10-string necks, 8 foot pedals and 5 knee levers. I am told it has the Buddy Emmons set up. I bought it through Dawn Jackson from someone in Newfoundland. It is not new, being built in 2010, but it is in such pristine condition I can't tell if it was ever played. I am very thankful to Dawn Jackson for bringing this deal together and for guiding me.

John, you've got a great guitar! David, Harry, and Dawn Jackson build wonderful steel guitars that have wonderful sound, looks, playability and tone. My Jackson guitar is a 2010 model also-it's a Blackjack Custom and it's the best guitar I've played and owned! You've got a beautiful guitar! |

Thanks guys. It took me several months to decide to buy this one as it was pretty expensive, not to mention several discussions with a higher authority at home. Now I just have to learn to play it. |

Well John you have a one of a kind with that guitar. That was mine and I sure do miss it. It plays every bit as good as it looks. I am so glade it made the trip to Calgary without any trouble. You will not find a better guitar to get back at it than this one..........IMHO.
Just so you are aware guitar was never out to a gig so only played at home and it was played every day. Enjoy

Thank you Charlie. I want you to know it has a great new home and will receive the love and respect that you clearly gave it previously. |

I see a very large flaw. It should be in my living room. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Playing for 54 years and still counting. |
