Here is a screen shot from a video on Youtube, from a news story about the steel guitar, shot sometime around 1985. This is Maurice and Theresa Anderson on stage at ISGC, and I would like to have a good quality picture of Maurice playing this guitar. I am restoring this guitar and would like a picture of him playing it for my collection. If anyone has pictures taken of this show, I would be happy to pay for copies.

I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro.

David, it's brown sunburst, and has a different changer support which is kind of visible in this picture.

That was from a TNN video feature on ISGC, taped back in the day. I may have a copy on VHS or possibly DVD. But finding it may be a chore. Would probably be better than the screen shot you posted.

Herb, that was from the Youtube video which wasn't very good quality to start with.

I'll check that out Larry, thanks for the tip.

I checked with Jim Nelligan, who has tons of pictures from the conventions, and he didn't think he had anything from this era.

Hi Alan, I saw that picture on Facebook, and it's not the one I'm looking for. I restored the guitar he's playing in the convention video and would like to have a good quality picture of him playing it to go along with the other information I have on the guitar, for my "MSA Museum".

Thanks

Perhaps one of the old Steel Guitarist or Steel Guitar World magazines might have a photo.

I'll take a look.

That's a possibility Lee, when I pretty much quit playing a few years ago, I sold all of my old steel guitar magazines & newsletters. If you find anything, let me know.

Thanks

I guess quitting isn't optional, it only lasted about 6 months. It's an incurable disease.
