I got to watchin' a bunch of Desperado steel covers on YouTube, and they were all excellent, but I couldn't find anyone doing the intro! That got me thinking, which eventually led to tinkering, and I thought I'd share what I came up with.
I'm not sure if I tabbed the last move clearly, but I let everything ring and strike string 6 before letting off the B pedal and D lever. Feedback and suggestions are welcome 
Pedals are standard Emmons setup, the 'D' lever lowers the E's and the 'F' lever raises F# to G.
