Shelby Lynne with Weissenborn player

Went to a concert Saturday night to see Shelby Lynne. She played one heck of an acoustic guitar accompanied by a standup bass with a Weissenborn player who doubled on acoustic lead.

She played and sang everything from Delta blues to Dusty Springfield. A very enjoyable evening.

She played locally a few weeks back and did a set on our community radio station. I heard her say "Weissenborn" and my ears perked up. She's got some good songs and the backing was top notch. I wish I could have gotten to the concert but it was already sold out.
