Just heard the new Dale Watson song ' Mama, don't let your Cowboys grow up to be babies'.

Don Don Pawlek does a great job on steel, can't wait for the whole new recording. Don is playing really well and is sounding awesome! Check it out!

There are coming to the Bowery Ballroom next week, unfortunately it's my daughters birthday, so I can't make it, hopefully next time.

The reason EVERYthing will sound better on this newest CD; is ONLY because my friend Lloyd Maines Produced it....

I'm proud of Dale Watson. Did he have Earl Poole Ball on piano?

Ricky, did Lloyd play on any of it? Not that Don can't handle it, far from it, but Lloyd is one of my favs.

Thanks for the info Ricky, you were no slouch playing for Dale back yonder, I had great fun watching you play with him at the Back Cat in Austin at SXSW, 15 or so years ago, but you probably don't remember that.

Hope you are feeling better and getting fit again!

Bill; Lloyd just produced and played no steel on this recent one by DW.
Thanks Craig; um...ha...no I don't remember those days that well; I hit my head too many times since then...ha.
Feeling?? Still recovering, but starting to play regular gigs now; so now you get a chance to come out and hear me actually really suck on the steel guitar...ha.
