Hello,
I'd rather talk to someone on the phone,
then have them try this out
(through a mid-70's Princeton Reverb I've got here)
than go though a long description.
If you're thinking about it, best reasonable
offer considered.
I've owned this since around 1968-69
(If you can remember, etc...)
Original neck, body (not this finishing,
originally some sort of white), tuners,
pickup selector switch, bridge pickup,
original bridge (with sawn off Bigsby)
included but not on the guitar (see pics).
This guitar was used a lot over the years,
not under the bed, etc. has been refretted at least
once, pots were replaced by Born pots probably around
1973, and the current bridge on around the
same time period. Esquires had no neck pickup,
the one in here now is what I think is a very old
Gibson P90, but have not consulted any P90 experts
about it. I put it in around the same time as the bridge, etc., and it was taken from a much older (1950's -60's) guitar. I'd actually like to keep the neck pickup, and lower the price, but will discuss that with whoever actually buys this, and I'll consider reasonable offers.
I'd like to do this locally, but if you know
anyone here who can see/try this, and vouch for me/it, I might be talked into shipping it.
I've more photo's, will answer any questions I can,
but would like to do it by phone or face to face.
Phone calls are best,
at
301-559-1646 Land
or
202-316-0259 Cell
I'm about a mile directly south of
Takoma Park, MD in

Thanks again,
Steve
