I guess my plastic folding chair with a cushion was looking homely at gigs. I got a big surprise for Fathers Day, that just arrived:

My wife and kids went in together and totally surprised me with a new Steeler's Choice ER-104. I haven't been around a lot of seats, but I've learned a couple things that are important already I'd like to share.

The back is a great handle to move the seat in and out with one hand as you get up and down, which is important for those of us who double on other instruments.

Lighter weight is a big deal. just a pound or two makes a big difference when toting even a short distance. Fit and finish are perfect.

A big thanks to Dan and the good folks in Little Rock.

Looks very nice. I'm about to order a similar seat so it's good to know I'm on the right track.
