was just wanting to know if there is a steel player with them. Rickey and band are going to be in our town this summer. and I,am wondering who he might have with him on steel. Smile

I don't think there's steel with Ricky & Kentucky Thunder. They mainly play acoustic bluegrass songs. Before Ricky formed Kentucky Thunder, guys like Bruce Bouton and Terry Crisp played steel with him.

No steel player but probably some of the best pickers ever. No slack in that band! Well worth going to see. You may want to buy a banjo afterwards.

thanks guys .some how I kind of thought that Brett that there was no steel player with them . and your right Lyle they are all awesome pickers is right and they will be well worth seeing. for sure. but I don't know about the banjo Lyle. although 4. maybe easey ,er than 10 come to think about it. Smile

After listening to Ricky Skaggs I feel like selling everything I have with strings. But I always get over it Laughing
