I've been doing some oddball messing around with my Jet Airliner lately. I hooked up Electro-Harmonix B9 and C9 organ pedals through an EH Holy Grail reverb and a Boss distortion pedal and went a bit nuts. I was getting sounds that were never meant for human ears out of it and at some levels it was horrible, other settings sounded pretty good and fairly unique. The organ synth pedals track really well and sound pretty authentic. Maybe next time I'll throw in some tremelo and see just how weird I can get.

And record it. Some guys "just messin' around" with stuff like that actually made money and became somewhat famous by doing that. Laughing

I love messing around with effects pedals and steel. I usually come back to just reverb and occasionally tremolo. But it's fun to play around with this stuff.
Phase shifter sounds great with steel!

Yeah Frank, thinking about that and the Boss Metal. I have to say the B9 and C9 pedals even by themselves sound really nice. They track really well, much better than earlier organ synth pedals. The Cathedral setting on the B9 with a little reverb and just a touch of distortion sounds really awesome.

So far I've been playing with these on my Supro 6 string Jet Airliner. Tonight I'm going to try it all out on my Gold Tone LS8 in E7th. This should be a riot.....by the neighbors. Laughing
