The Maverick I had when first starting out was a mica/burl
finish, looked awful and sounded worse - and would not stay in tune for anything.
Those are great sound clips, that Maverick does sound just fine! _________________ Sierra Crown D-10 |

That guitar brings back some fond memories. Boo and I had a great time for a few late evenings in the workshop building that guitar. Lots of Texas Troubadors and Ray Price CD's went into making it.
There is still a hole in the door from when Boo did not have a good hold on a part.....a buffing wheel makes a great aluminum launcher.
Cool guitar all in all. I think someone will enjoy owning it. |

well..it's a beauty..but folks should not be confused by the name badge, it's says Maverick but it's not anything like a typical Maverick !
Doug did a fine job on the "resto-mod"...
well worth the price... _________________ Emmons L-II , Fender Telecasters, B-Benders , Eastman Mandolin ,

Thanks for posting those clips. .... that is the sweetest Maverick I have ever seen. It definately has that succulent warm Shobud tone.

Damir, that is so cool, and shows your humor. It could fit right in with the guitar. Doug done a beautiful job, as always. _________________ Zum U-12, Carter SDU-12, Zum Encore, Emmons S-10, Emmons D-10, Nashville 400, Two Peavey Nashville 112, Boss Katana 100, Ibanez DD700, Almost every Lesson Jeff Newman sold. Who says you can't add knees to a Maverick! Doug can "git-er-done". Nice guitar! _________________ Amateur Radio Operator NA4IT (Extra)
