Evans Amp Year

I would like to know who or how i find out what year this evans amp was made.It is a Evans FET 500 Custom LV, Ser# 8527. Also would like to know what it is worth.It is in Very good condition an works like new.

Your amp is a 1985 (the first two digits of the s/n) - the second two numbers represent the number of amps completed in that year 'to date'. Yours was #27.
