A great set of ANOS tubes came on the local market...including some near new testing as mentioned tubes...

They bias up a bit cold in my non adjustable bias deluxe clone circuit...but still sound really good...Great feel to these tubes...nice presence bump right where the ear wants it.

I can see why they were very popular in their day....smooth creamy breakup...nice feel...great tone....maybe warmer than I am used to with a bit more slosh to the bottom...but their own thang fer sure. Not loud...I can run all my volume knobs including masters at 5 and the volume is just right where I would want it for gigging...six string that is.
