Alesis SR 16 Count Down

Hi Guys, Is there any way to program a countdown into a pattern with the Alesis drum machine?

Reading the manual, I see that there's Pattern Mode and Song Mode... if you are in Song Mode, then create a pattern with four clicks (or whatever) and put it at the first of your song. Don't see any other way, except that in Record Mode you get clicks all the time for free.

That is exactly what I've done with drum machines. Make two patterns and tack these two bars onto the front of the song--

1 2 3 4

1 . . . (one, rest rest rest)

Makes it simple to edit it out.
