Richebacher Electro, an oldie from 1939 with string through the body and large horseshoe pick-up. Has that classic, Bakelite Ricky tone and sustain. Also has two control knobs, one for volume and one for tone as opposed to many Rickis which only have one control knob.

Supposedly these pre-war model were made with a different bakelite formula. I've only read this and am not sure it it has any difference in the tone than the post-war models due to this change in the bakelite formula. But a number of owners do seem to prefer the the 1.5" pickup compared to the 1.25" pickup.

One thing about the Rickis is that they are not being built anymore and likely will not be. Original case shows some wear but heh, it's 76 years old.
Gonna hold on to it for now but will keep thread open. Thanks Stevet
