Elizabeth Cook rocked the house at the Chicago City Winery on Sunday night. She covered gospel, bluegrass, "El Camino," country, and everything in between with a 4-piece band behind her.

Highlight for me was a cover of a Lou Reed/Velvet underground song called "Pale Blue Eyes." HERE is a performance of that song she did at the Grand Ole Opry which is also on YouTube.

I saw her 10 years ago at the Opry. She was fantastic. Why they don't play her on radio is mind blowing. She's the real deal.
