I posted a couple months ago I was looking for an 8 string lap for my son to play at school. Bob Allen sent me a p.m and offered to build one for my son, and all I can say is what a guitar. Also, I want to add he sent pics of its build all along the way. A grade A builder for sure. Thanks to Bob, and a great guitar!Here are a few pics. Jacob got it yesterday and is already on his way to learning sleepwalk.

Beautiful. Bet it sounds good too. If I remember right, they are also reasonably priced. I've been tempted. But so far, I have been able to resist.
