Here are a few pics of a recent frypan lap steel guitar I recently finished. It differs from any other I've built in that the neck is much narrower, 2 1/4", and remains straight with no flare out, all the way into the body. It is 25" scale. String spacing is 3/8. Slotted head with Grover stay tight open tuners. I wound the pickup to around 9K resistance using 42awg wire, A5 magnets.
I put this guitar into a tactical rifle case, which is extremely well padded, has big pouches on the outside with a bunch of smaller pouches on the inside (good for all the tone bars, picks, etc etc. one may carry with them.)
