I have several bars ,but BJS is a heavenly experience. I bought a 7/8 and loved it and then got a 15/16 and worked between the two as my hands felt most comfortable . However, I heard so much about Butch's John Hughey bar that I thought why not invest in it to see if it matched up to image and you know what : IT IS FANTASTIC !!!!!! I have problems with my hands anyway and therefore I need to switch for comfort and I believe I have found the answer. This is an incredible BAR for comfort and TONE too as with my hands it slides and moves even better than my other two lovely BARS . I thought if members have hand problems as I have then this may well be the BAR for you too. THANKS BUTCH FOR THIS TOP NOTCHED DESIGNED BAR-------JOHN HUGHEY . Reply with quote

Hi Richard, I only began pedal steel seriously after retirement and it is purely a form of relaxation and personal enjoyment for me, so one does not need to go public as music for me has always been a sort of spiritual satisfaction. Even with my terrible playing I always sense an inner glow after the last notes fade . Mind you perhaps the guitar is thankful for the final note too ? JAMES TAYLOR

Well Members, It seems we all agree on this issue. This particular bar has been a god send to me for : handling, balance, tone and to me this is how a pedal steel should sound like. Therefore, HUGHEY does appear to be the best for me at least. JAMES TAYLOR
