Here is an interesting device that immensely increases the potential of the lap steel guitar. This is an E tuning. The lever pulls 3 strings and thus gives you an A chord. It is SWEET!!!!!!!

I would be interested to see some details of the mechanism and how it works. I'm in the process right now of building a resonator guitar which I'm fitting a Duesenberg Multibender on.
