We have a great show lined up on June 14, in Conyers, GA.

Great players from 4 states coming to make this one of our best ever.

Plus we will be giving out our 2015 Georgia Legends Award.

So if you are near or far, come on down.

Regretfully I have to cancel. In the midst of selling one house and remodeling another it's just not gonna work out for me to be there but I will see you all come November if not before.

Well, if you are undecided about coming to this show be assured it is going to be great. I've worked with Kurt Johnston (playing lead guitar and singing) and I can guarantee you he is the consummate entertainer. The boy can pick steel, guitar, piano, banjo, dobro, and has a great voice too. (I think I should hate him...)

In addition to Kurt, the GaSGA has lined up some other great talents. Steve Cunningham is a local Atlanta boy who picks lap steel, bottle neck, lead and has a great style of playing them all. And don't forget Austin Tripp (a young stud who's really turned out to be fine picker), Mark Van Allen (the "other" busiest steel player in Georgia), and all the other players that will to contribute to making this an outstanding show for us all.

Make your plans to come early and stay late. First song kicks off at 10:30am. See you there....

I want to apologize to everyone for missing the show yesterday. I goofed up my back pretty bad this weekend and I'm not suppose lift or put pressure on it for prolonged periods of time. The doctor says I have a disc pressing a nerve. I'm on steroids to help with the swelling but hopefully I'll be ready to play the steel again next weekend! Again please accept my apologies and I'm without a doubt gonna see each and everyone of you at the next one. God bless!
