Hey guys......looking at the player schedule I realize that this Memorial Day Show , May 22 & 23 , offers some of the best players ever to grace the stage . Herb , Buck Buck , Austin , Terry , Rose , Gene , Steve , Cuz Paul , etc backed up by the maestro himself , Mr Roy .
Now , the cherry on the cake is # 1...Leona Williams and # 2 Ron Williams . Thank God that these folks have refused to sing anything but traditional Country {and do it quite well} but Leona is one of the premier writers of great music , the kind we like . Ron's song , "You Should Have More Respect For The Dead" just trips my trigger like it ain't been tripped in forever . SO , what I'm saying is , this is the one Convention you should not miss at any cost....great steel , great support band , and the cherry on top , Leona and Ron .
You owe it to yourself to be there and join in the fun . Also , I should mention the great vendors this year.....plenty of C D's and instructional materials to keep you busy in the woodshed until this time next year .
