The back of this little amp is marked 200 watts @ 4 ohms. Would it damage this amp to use an 8 ohm speaker? I realize it would have a loss in power.

It won't hurt the amp at all. You can run two 8 ohm speakers if you wish and the drop in volume won't even be noticed as typically we only use the first third of volume control on most amps. |

If you run two 8's you're back at 4ohms... unless you take special pains to series them. _________________ Too much junk to list... always getting more. |
