Are there grommets or bushings in a LeGrande’s cabinet where the crosshafts are inserted? Or are there simply wooden holes?

There are brass bushings

Thanks, Ian, you’re absolutely right. I took a closer look at my SD10 and the bushings are there. They were partially covered by flocking.
