It has been 8 years since we have seen our son, Greg Jones, in a theatre setting with steel guitar. He was at Stuarts Opra House in Nelsonville, Ohio for an ALS fund raiser event. A beautiful place, all restored and the acoustics are outstanding. He played guitar and steel, whichever the show called for. That Mullen is 25 years old and still sings like it always did and still carried the medallion on the left side that a lot of people asked about.
We sure do miss the days at Renfro Valley, KY but I guess Dad better say he still has his chops. It was a great afternoon and I hope they raised a lot of money for ALS. |
