Would make more sense to cut the vocals and leave the solos!!

Bonnie Raitt said in an interview once, something like, "this slide guitar thing has been overdone", but that was about fifteen years ago. This came to mind.

i thought the short radio friendly songs were the staple of the industry since the 60's.
