Last Friday on our way back from playing Sugarlands Distillery in Gatlinburg my band stopped by to play the Blue Plate Special live radio show in Knoxville on WDVX. It's archived for a few weeks on their website, if you want to hear steel in a pop/rock/Americana context… you can listen in on this page: http://www.wdvx.com/on-demand/ You hit the calendar button for Friday May 1, then click Blue Plate Special at noon. You can FF to the second half where our section starts, but then you'll miss the bluegrass excellence of the Kevin Prater band, and they're outstanding. I'd love to hear impressions and comments. Fun show!
