I really appreciate all the folks who have watched my videos and all the nice comments I've received. At 75 years of age I've noticed my chops are starting to deteriorate a little, so, with a little urging from my family, I decided I should record some of my music while I can still play. Here's my latest offering. Hope you enjoy it.

Bob that was really good... I’m a little younger than you, 59 this June, but I’m trying to do a bit of the same thing as you... my parents would still like some of this stuff while they can still enjoy it, in their early to mid 80’s, and although it might not mean too much to my kids now, I know that someday it may... You bar was much higher than mine will ever be so I need to start earlier then you, or by your age I won’t be playing at all... I love your playing and that you’re still blessing us by letting us hear you play...Thanks _________________ Dale Rottacker, Steelinatune™

Thanks guys. Mike, I'm coming off of the Line Out on the back of a Nashville 112 into a Tascam DR-07 recorder, then out of the recorder into the Line-in of the computer sound card. My son is helping me with these recordings and he does all the hard stuff. I just sit there and play. He is using Adobe Audition to record the sound and a digital camera for the video, then he syncs them together and deletes the track from the recorder. At least that's what he told me.
If I tried to do it by myself it would probably never get to youtube. |

Bob that's really good stuff and an inspiration to all us older guy's. At 66 I know the hands are loosing some speed and dexterity. I should follow your lead and get some done. Keep up the good work. |

You're a really smooth player Bob, with good taste and all the things a steel player strives to get. Thanks for posting that for us
