I purchased an Xotic Effects EP Booster to use with my Tele. Man what this pedal does is phenomenal.

I bought it to use as a booster for solos but now I leave it on all the time and continue to use the volume knob on the Tele to turn up/down for solos. What it does to the tone playing through a Cube 80XL at low volumes!

It gives me the same tone enhancement like a Freeloader or BlackBox for PSG.

I'm tempted to try it for PSG but it probably wouldn't work so well with PSG pickups.

Anyone tried one for PSG?

Try it with the steel ! I've been dying to know how it responds. was thinking of picking one up myself to try out but I don't really need any more pedals…
Guitarists rave about the EP booster,,,

I tried one and the effect was lost on me. All I could tell it did was make things louder depending on where I had it set. Larry Toliver uses one and swears by it. I took mine to one of Larry's schools where Johnny Cox was teaching. He liked it and bought it from me. I think he uses it to kick the signal back up after going thru a string of effects pedals.

Quite a few of my guitarist friends use the EP and many have it mounted underneat their pedal boards. Always on, set and forget.

I have one. It's right after the volume pedal and it's on all the time set from 9-12 o'clock. It's still not tape (nothing is) but I'm hearing it. It seems I can add more highs and mids and cut more bass. The battery lasts a long time.
