You can get the same effect by blowing on the string after you pick it.
Don't give up. You've got to blow REALLY hard.

I have one that activates 2 strings and would like to sell or trade but don't know what they are worth right now.I bought it when they first came out and can't rmember what I paid.I know it was fairly pricey. |

I bought mine at Sam Ash. Around 60$ as I recall. If at all possible, try one before you buy one. It does sustain the note, but it sounds like a fuzz tone, or distorting the note. It's not a snap to use either. It takes a little patience to find the right distance above the string and that can vary with string gauge and pick attack and volume.
If your willing to spend the time to make it work, it could be a usefull gimmick. If not, don't waste your money as I did. |
