I just want to give a big "shout out" to Mr. Richard McVicker and his "SADDLE finger picks"..I have been playing Steel for over 50 years and these are the best finger picks I have ever used..they stay on your fingers because of the great design..also the spoon of the pick is smooth with no holes which allows you to dig deep in the strings and get a great sound...it is great playing without having the fear of your finger picks falling off or having to repress them back on you fingers..the best product to come along in years for the Steel player.

I am just starting to learn and these are the only finger picks i have found that i can wear comfortably. It makes it so much easier to play. And as most of you know a beginner needs as few discouraging things as possible. i have not tried the thumb pick but i am sure it is good also. I have tried a bunch of different brands and these are so much better for me. A+ |

I may give them a try. My thumb pick never feels right to me, I reposition it a lot. Some steel players are always fiddling with their picks while playing, they could probably benefit from these. |

I find that the Saddle finger picks work good with my Zookies L-20 thumb pick..I also had trouble with my other finger picks falling off my fingers and had to constantly repress them back on my fingers..but the SADDLE fingers picks solved that problem...plus they do not have any round or diamond shaped holes in the spoon of the pick which allows one to dig deeper into the strings without fear of the string getting caught on the holes...These SADDLE fingers picks are a "must have" for me..best product to come along in years for the Steel Player. |
