The planets must have aligned just right!! A couple of weeks ago, we had 2 (count 'em) TWO pedal steels on the same stage. That's my Emmons in the foreground and a Fessenden on the other side of the stage.

The Americana band I've been playing in was invited to open for American Aquarium, a really great touring band out of Raleigh. The Fessy was played by their utility guy and was used throughout the night. I hesitate to define their genre, so I wont. It was my 3rd gig ever on PSG and was a blast. The sound at that venue was phenomenal.
