This is more insight into Jeff Newman's OBAIL scale, and Reece's pattern that he also taught at his seminars. I guess it could also be extended to Buddy's (and Mike Auldridge's) "snake scale". It would also be why blues harp players use the IV harp to play blues,,,,or any country with a blues feel,,,which is most in one form or another. This link is actually guitar related, but the principle applies to ANY instrument,,,as I said,,,the very basis of harmonica,,,,and opens up a new world,,,at least on non-pedal C6,,,,and probably pedal E9 also,,,most likely tie a bunch of things together,,,any instrument,,any tuning.

To clarify,,,when I say IV Position,,,,if you are playing key of A,,,,play from the D position.
