The first time I tried a tutorial, it didn't work so well. That's why I don't do many, but this one went OK. A few E9th licks shown and explained: http://youtu.be/R8WlDTfLWmk _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

Lane, you need to bring up the light. Very hard to see. |

You're right, Jack. I just noticed I accidentally got the exposure value set wrong. Once I tilt the camera down, it lightens up. Is it STILL too dark after about two and a half minutes in? _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

Next week's plan: a counterpoint to the 9-beat walkup and a harmony to the iconic Tele ride from Workingman's Blues. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

Thanks Lane. Your passion about the steel guitar is obvious. |

OK, y'all. I did the counterpoint harmonized scale lick, the harmony part to Workingman's Blues, and a chromatic walkup lick. Two more licks: http://youtu.be/VjMyZ-yahAU _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

Charlie, I wasn't paying attention. Where did I use the A# lever? _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

At 1:47; you're doing a review of the pedals and levers.
For me, it was merely hearing the change in context with the other changes, not in a song. _________________ Those that say don't know; those that know don't say.--Buddy Emmons |
