So my amazing wife and father went and got me a CRAZY MINT Sho Bud. It's a guitar I have been coveting and they found me an amazingly new looking bud from a forum member. I figured it had been a long time since I put up a free lesson video so I had to do a Lloyd Green number. Running it right into my 1970 Pro Reverb...

This thing is like a museum piece and I'd be happy to post more pics. My great buddy Ross Shafer (forum member) helped me dial it in and it plays like butter... sounds even better. Sure there are allowances one must take with these old guitars but damn its fun to play and sounds amazing.

Anyways.. here is the lesson of a great tune by the man Lloyd Green.

I would love to figure out the exact year if anyone can help... its got the smaller pedals but the aluminum knees etc. The serial # is 10360.

So happy to finally have a Bud and the exact one I've coveted!

Shot with my new, super wide angle lens, Canon Vixia camcorder.

Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks!

Thanks guys. I'd been to that field guide before but didn't know if there was a way to get more specific. 76-77 is at least something. I know these are hard to pin down.

mine is supposed to be a 76, and it has the earlier rope style inlay, but is square front and smooth, narrow pedals. you're sounding great on yours.

Maybe I'll just say 77 since it's the year I was born. Makes it more romantic!

That's some real good pickin', Especially on a steel with a neck that's bent so bad. Tommy......
