Hi,

I was wondering what people think are the best instructional videos for beginners that you can download online. I don't have a dvd player and tv setup so I'd just like to watch them right on my lap top. been playing guitar all my life and lap steel for a year but getting my first pedal steel next month so something that would go through the basics of E9 and introduce me to the mechanics of the pedal steel.

Thanks,

Dylan

I don't know how old your laptop is, but they have been putting DVD players in most of them for years now.

Except the most recent ones. Laptop progression seems to suggest that CDs and DVDs are becoming obsolete rather quickly.

Good thing I still have my eight tracks!

You could always buy an external CD/DVD player/recorder that
plugs into a USB port on most any computer. They're cheap too.

I bought my laptop last year snd it has one. I don't think CD and DVD will become obsolete very soon. Too much software still sold on them.

There's a lot on youtube, if you either have WiFi or can have your laptop connected to the net by your steel.
William Litaker, Mickey Adams and Bobbe Seymour all have lessons on their youtube channels.
