I know that when I play that bottom note and press that last lever it dives way down and the whole house vibrates on its foundation Laughing

That guitar is so clean. Do you think it is a rebuild. Most that I see are brown. I wonder if there are many other colored shobuds from the early 70's. I would like some color in my cave; and tone. Pulse quickening ... must log off.

Beautiful Bud... my guess is that it's been refinished, judging by the "The Pro II Custom" decal, which wasn't in use on round-front Buds.
The underneath has a couple upgrades...the black plastic ball joint connectors have been replaced with metal ones. The coil taps switches are gone, also.

That certainly doesn't take any value or mojo away from the gtr... it may actually improve it.
Best of luck with the sale...it's a killer Bud if I ever saw one.

Thanks Chris,
You know, I'm an Emmons guy, but I had my coffee this morning and played this Sho~Bud,
just a few oldies like Harbor Lights and what not, and the notes just "chimed" on it.
The sustain in this wood is unbelievable, I found myself letting the last chords ring
and I could just feel it running up my arms.
I'm not worried about selling it fast. The right person will grab it when they're ready.
Until then Sunday mornings belong to me and the Bud Laughing
