...or has anyone found a better way to keep these bars warm?
These things are freezing even at room temperature. So, I end up leaving one in my pocket (a pre-heat of 30 minutes before playing). I guess I could leave one in the coffee cup. What does everyone else do? |

Paul,
When coming in from outdoor winter cold, try Under the Hot Water Faucet for a Rapid Heat Transfer.

At the last gig I played, my wife held it between her legs while I was setting up and tuning.
When I got the bar it was nice and warm.
Not kidding. She is some woman!

I'm not going to go there..........but stuffing it under the armpit, like the old Polaroid black and white film required in order to get it to develop-up, will work. |

My Red Rajah bar feels the same everytime I pick it up, but I'm going to start complaining about that to see if I can get my wife to help me.

Paul. For a quick warm up I use a coffee cup.
The pants pocket works the best if you think to put your other bar there in time. ( Always have two) If it's really cold your coffee won't stay warm more than a few minutes and a cold bar will cool it down post haste.
The last time I had a problem was an outdoor night gig few years ago. I couldn't do the "pants pocket" thing because I was foolishly wearing a summer dress.
You can ask if you want to.
I doubt if anybody will though...
