Just gotta say how much I love his guitars, and am really loving this new D10 9x10 that he recently built for me...The second picture is Peewee Charles playing it on the Ameripolitan Awards in Austin in February...thanks, Jerry!!!

I recall from a thread many years ago you were planning on having a mica guitar with wood necks built for you. ..looks like you got it...
I am very interested in how this compares to your other two Fessys?
BTW... I bought my own used D10 Fessy lacquer with aluminum necks largely as a result of your recording endorsement of them and they truly deliver easy to work with tone in the recording studio... so says the engineer I worked with.... direct to board. .. very balanced eq.... and a tone that is its own thing but very easy to listen to. |

Actually, it has metal necks...still want to try the wood ones sometimes. I traded in the lacquer guitar for this one, partly because I like the tone of a mica guitar better, and partly cause I'm kind of rough on guitars...
I had 710's on my other guitars, and went to 705's on this one. Seems like this one is just a little warmer in the low mids, but is is not muddy there either...anyway, I am totally digging it...

| My Fessy has wood necks and true tone pickups. It gets a very warm fat sound. |

Pretty much, just slightly modernized...2nd string still at D...LKV is now string 1 F# to G# and string 2 D to E...4th pedal is now the Franklin change...Miss Jimmie!!!
