This is another clip from the jam session at the theatre in Kilauea, Kauai, Hawaii that was recorded on a 4 track cassette and bounced to Buddy's 8 track in Nashville. He added both organ and string sounds from the IVL Steelrider.
There are two basses and two drummers.
I call this "Cat Tacs" because at the time, Buddy would sprinkle thumbtacks on his back porch steps to keep the cat(s) away who were trying to get at the birds. I think he and Peggy kept a bird feeder stocked. And yes, he's packin':

I instantly thought of "Eight Miles High".
Who played lead?

Kirby Keough, from Lawai, Kauai (originally from Oahu) plays guitar. He also plays and sings great Hawaiian music, which is featured on his record. Here's his website: http://www.kirbykeough.com.
The thumbtacks were sprinkled liberally on the steps leading UP to the porch.

E said something like "you're pretty pushy", once. I'm probably lucky he didn't take me "out behind the barn"; but heck, he is our hero.
