I have a lot of old and Unusual guitars in my collection. Digging thru a lot of old guitars I discovered this old "Springfield" steel . it has 3/2 and the case says Springfield co. Just curious if anyone knows about them?? Ed Naylor Steel Guitar Works.

Hi Ed,
Does the guitar have round white nylon tuners on the underside of the guitar? If it does it is a guitar that was manufactured in Livingston, Scotland. The company went out of business years ago.

...and the pedals were cannibalised from a car manufacturing company which made the (cute!) Hillman Imp - yes, the pedals are accelerator ('gas') pedals!
Nudge the knee levers and see how easily the guitar moves sideways!
