What a jam we had last nite with Rob, Henry, Allen, Fred, Roy, Dale, and TV steeling along with our great rhythm section Rick, Lynn, Chris, and Eddy. Good old country music with the way each steeler plays it along with pizza, chips, pretzels,
soda, Yuengling beer and birthday cake, PRICELESS
On a personal note it was just what I needed on my way to recovery with my battle with the big C.
Thanks again for a real Happy Birthday.

........Tommy Volmer!
TV makes it all work, with great kickoffs for song after song, his Chalker-esque gutting technique, his warm welcome. It was a great time!

I had a great time! Tom's personality and attitude make him a wonderful person to meet and know. (He is also a heck of a machinist as I found out!) It was also great to meet all the pickers who played so well. Rob, thanks for letting me try your Legrande III; that is a sweet playing and sounding guitar. Happy Birthday Tommy! |

I'm glad you had a great jam and a Happy Birthday Tom. I missed coming to the jam because my dear friend Les Severs lost his beautiful wife Barbara to cancer. Services were held that same evening and I felt the need to be there for Les.
Hopefully I can get there for the next one and get a few lessons from the great pickers that were there. |
