Looking for a comprehensive E9 chord dictionary, printed or online, that covers basic and extended chords.

Is Jeff Newman's dictionary just a show-and-tell DVD? I prefer something with written documentation.

Thanks for info, gang.

John,

I have the Newman E9 chord dictionary. It's a 38 page book with tab and charts. It covers maj, min, 6th, 7th, 9th, 13th, aug, sus etc.

It's not just chord charts there is a lot of text explaining the chords. How they are used and chord progressions.

It also includes charts that Jeff used to call a play plan.

I can scan you a sample of it. I don't think it came with a cassette at the time just the book.

The Chord finder I referred to enables you to put in any tuning with unlimited amount of strings, pedals or levers. It also gives you modes. If you are having trouble getting in touch try sending a PayPal to the owner. He is in New Zealand.

Thanks Niels...I thought maybe it was an “Auto” response return email that was sent upon completion of the registration form...

I logged in this morning and noted I have a couple hundred custom tunings from playing around looking at others non standard tunings and playing what if! You don't need to register for a standard E9 or C6 ten stringer, the only reason to register is to save a custom set up.

Okay...I’ll look at that...I did want to try some of the custom stuff though as well... Lower the 7th string a whole step and also raise it a whole... so kinda wanted to play with that a little.
