I just played with 200 elementary school singers in a patriotic music program this evening. Not my first gig, but first for pedal steel. I worked hard to measure up for this first gig, and I'm satisfied (but know exactly what wasn't perfect). Tuning, adjustments, equipment, volume pedal, amp settings, blocking, technique, arrangement - what a lot of stuff to manage! I'd like to say thanks to all the knowledgeable, and charitable contributors on this forum, who were a huge motivating and educating factor for me.

PS - The Simmons Genesis came thru, especially after I changed the 3 year old strings! Thanks Bob S!
