Just got back from a week in Nashville and proud to report we got to see a whole bunch of steel players and real country music! Robby Turner w/ Stephanie Rabus and the Rebellion @ Music City Bar & Grill, Vic Lawson w/The Gary Gibson Band @ The Wheel, Mike Sweeney w/Ike Johnson & the Roadhouse Rangers, Mike Sweeney w/John England & the Western Swingers @ The Nashville Palace, Eddie Lange @ his CD Release Party @ Music City Bar & Grill & W/Travis Mobly @ Second Fiddle, Rusty Danmyer w/ The Music City Playboys @ Music City Bar & Grill, Ronnie Miley w/Larry Hamilton & the Palace Band, Mike "Cookie" Jones w/ Mile Siler Band @ Legends Corner, and Travis Toy w/ Vince Moreno @ the Stage! What a fun filled week of live pickin'! And be sure to pick up Eddie Lange's new CD. Its super awesome! Very Happy

I agree. I walked into Crossroads on lower Broadway Monday night and was a bit stunned to see none other than Tommy White on stage--first time I've had the pleasure of running into him playing downtown. At 10pm some of the venues change to a much less desirable format but you can still find a few steelers late into the night.
